I love Jack N Jill’s. They are one of my favorite events to do. This one did not disappoint. Angie used to work with me at Lazer 99.3 and Jay I have known for a good chunk of my life through family. As soon as Angie emailed me to ask about doing their Jack N Jill I was pumped. I knew it was going to be an amazing time.
They decided to do a Halloween theme for the night. So a good amount of the guests were dressed up. Including the two of them. They were Little Red Riding Hood and The Wolf. The costumes for the party were awesome. They had a few Waldo’s (as in Where’s Waldo?), Game of Thrones characters, a roller coaster with car, a couple of Clark Kent’s, a Batman family, Crash Test Dummies, Dirty Ring Toss, a couple dressed as boobs – yes, boobs, and a whole lot more. They even had 3 little ones dressed as LMFAO and they nailed it!
They had a ton of raffle prizes. The tables were packed with restaurant gift cards, booze, kids toys, cooking essentials, and a ton more. They’re big raffle prizes included an iPad, and an amazing custom corn hole set painted by Jay’s cousin.
The turn out for Angie and Jay was awesome. In fact at one point Angie came up to me to ask me what they should do if they run out of food.
After the raffle it was time for dancing. Looking at the crowd I thought it was going to be a night where I play a lot of newer music and not a ton of old stuff. The crowd surprised me. They danced to everything, but the old stuff really got the crowd going, and of course I did slip in a little LMFAO for the little ones who dressed like them. The Red Sox were also in the middle of the ALCS so a few people were in the bar watching the game, but I kept most of them on the dance floor.
It was another great night, I had a blast! Thank you Angie & Jay for having me be part of it!
